June 21 – Our second annual 5K had perfect weather and 150 participants (up from 121 last year) and over 100 spectators . We had over 25 participants in the fun run at 7pm followed by the main race at 7:15 . Adam Zukowski finished a close first place at 18:55.4 breaking his own course record of last year (19:15). Kyle Rhoads was a close second at 18:58.4. Laura Campbell finished first in the women’s division at 21:50 . Runners ranged from age 7 to 74.
Fun was had by all with lots of baked goods, good camaraderie, and a celebration of the longest evening of the year! Thanks to everyone, Libby Hill Trails raised funds that will help pay for trail maintenance and other trail projects.
