Libby Hill Forest consists of over 8 miles of multipurpose recreational trails in Gray, Maine. The trail system spans properties owned by the Town of Gray, Mathew Morrill Trust, SAD 15, and the Gray Community Endowment (GCE). The trails are stewarded by the Friends of Libby Hill. These trails are located adjacent to the Middle and High Schools.
The history of the project has spanned over 10 year and was made possible by the hard work of hundreds of volunteers. The trails officially opened in February of 2001.
These trails span 5 properties owned by the Town of Gray, SAD 15, Gray Community Endowment, and Mathew Morrill Trust and are overseen by the Gray Parks and Recreation Department and the Gray Community Endowment.
