Four-Hundred-Footer Club

Libby Hill drains into two watersheds including the Royal River shed and the Presumpscot River shed. Because we are in the Royal River shed area, we have been added to the 400-Footer club run by the Royal River Conservation Trust. This club is free and designed to be a fun family activity. It involves climbing all hills in the watershed in a twelve-month period starting in January of each year. Once you complete your hikes you register at the club page, and you get a badge sent to you!

On Libby Hill, the summit is located just of Deer Run Trail. You will see a laminated sign by the side of the trail indicating the summit. Note the summit is relatively flat and you won’t see a ‘peak’. Keep in mind that the Deer Run trail is a ski trail so if you are looking to log the summit you must use skis when trails are groomed.

For maps, information and registration details visit the RRCT’s 400 Foot Club Page.
