Gray Maine iNaturalist Projects

iNaturalist is a project run by National Geographic and USC that uses an app to gathers sightings of all types of fauna and animals. It is a great way to learn how to identify plants, animals, fungi, amphibians, and reptiles. To learn more on how to get started with iNaturalist here are some helpful resources. If you already use iNaturalist, your sightings are automatically gathered for these projects, no need to assign them! This is a free app and there is no fee to post or see data.

Gray Project

Gray has three areas that collect data entered by iNaturalist users and gives you many details on those identifications.

Thayer Brook Preserve ID Project

Morgan Meadow WMA Fauna

Libby Hill Trails Fauna

Please avoid ALL trails (ski, snowmobile, and hiking trails) on these ski race days on    March 1st. The trails are now open on Feb 8th since that race was canceled.
