Carl Holmquist has this information on the Nonstop races:

The Nonstop races have a Citizen stage, and I would encourage all levels to participate – registration can be found at – https://www.nonstopnordic.com/nordic-race-series. There will be several interesting formats for each of the Nonstop races and people will be coming from a wide area to participate.  Several Nordic clubs from around the state including young kids all the way up to seniors.  Each of the Nonstop races will have a professional announcer broadcasting the race and keeping the action lively. High School and Middle School races are always fun to see the wide spectrum of talent and so many kids having a fun time before, during and after the races. It is worth checking out!

If anyone has any questions or ideas of how we as a community can support these events, please reach back to Carl Holmquist (carlh@maine.rr.com phone 657-2173) and share your thoughts.  Each of these events takes a great deal of prep and volunteer effort to pull off so if you or anyone you know would like to pitch in, Carl will find a task.  The Nonstop Nordic group is a very energetic group of volunteers in their second year from around Cumberland County that all have a love for Nordic skiing and have already committed thousands of hours in their organization and planning for these events and supply a cast of supporters that show up race day to make it a success.  So, as you can see below, we have a lot going on at Libby Hill over the next two months, all we need is SNOW!

Warm weather has deteriorated the ski trails. We need a foot or more of snow to get the ski trails groomed.
