Gray’s first Community Day event was held today at Newbegin Hall. Libby Hill had a booth with maps, photos, and information on trails all around Gray. There were both new and old-time residents who attended the fun event. Walking groups had questions on planning future events and longtime Libby Hill hikers got new ideas on combination hikes they can make from the new Thayer Brook Preserve. The kids had many activities to keep them busy, one of them was a long white piece of paper on the floor with lots of markers. When I went over to study the artists’ works, I saw that Libby Hill inspired one drawing!
